Trevor Jenkins leads talented teams to develop and photograph videos for brands and companies. He is an award-winning Commercial Campaign writer & producer [TELLY, ADDY, dotCOMM, DAVEY awards]. Fluent in French, English and un poquito de Español.
His work includes celebrities such as Harvey Keitel, Ben Affleck, Trevor Hall, Matisyahu, DMC, Casting Director Sheila Jaffe, and… his short film ‘Paradosis’ won the USA Film Festival and was selected as the Regional Finalist by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. In 2001 Trevor was awarded the O-1 Visa for exhibiting Extraordinary Ability in the Arts, followed by Permanent Resident status and U.S. Citizenship in 2008. ‘Love Over Fear | Ethiopia’ is an official selection of The New Industry program for the 2019 Oaxaca Film Festival in Mexico. Cinematography and photography work appears on Travel Channel, Food Network, MTV, ESPN and MTV France, AP Images, Marriott International and The Telegraph UK. Along with Brian McManus, he cast the video for John Mellencamp’s ‘Our Country‘ directed by Albert Watson.
A graduate of the SCAD M.F.A. Film & Television program; he created a 7 screen installation ‘Swim Tank‘ for the SFF gala honoring Guillermo Arriaga. Jenkins has instructed new media artists at the Idyllwild Arts Academy in California, the Maine Media Workshops, The Governor’s School For the Arts in Virginia, and Armstrong Atlantic State University in Georgia. He developed his love for time-based performance and emotional rhythms while studying in the Royal Conservatory of Music in Canada. Jenkins is an FAA Licensed sUAS Operator Commercial Pilot [Drones].
Trevor continues to encourage young artists and thinkers by reaching drawing workshops for elementary and middle school students.
