Trevor Jenkins – Producer
Trevor Jenkins is a dual Citizen of the United States and Canada, who has worked for some of Hollywood’s best, including Harvey Keitel and Sheila Jaffe (Casting Director for The Sopranos, Entourage). Jenkins and Brian McManus cast the music video for John Mellencamp’s ‘Our Country’, directed by award-winning fashion photographer Albert Watson.
Jenkins’ short film ‘Paradosis’ won six film festivals, including the USA Film Festival and Austin Film Festival, and was nominated for a Student Academy Award. ‘Chasing The Elephant’, his short comedy film, features a cameo with Harvey Keitel and premiered in the Rio De Janeiro Int’l Short Film Festival. His music video for Neilson Hubbard’s ‘Everything is Glory’ premiered at the Directors Guild of America during the LA Film Festival.
‘Swimming With The Virgin’, features performances from Diana Scarwid (Wonderfalls, Mommy Dearest), Doc Dougherty (Basketball Diaries) and Harry Van Gorkum (Agent Cody Banks), and screened at film festivals worldwide. This short film completed the studio component for Jenkins’ M.F.A. degree at the Savannah College of Art & Design. For the Savannah Film Festival gala honoring Oscar nominated writer Guillermo Arriaga (Babel); Jenkins was commissioned to create a 7 screen video installation of underwater scenes titled ‘Swim Tank’.
As cinematographer & videographer Jenkins has worked in North and South America, with work featured on The Food Network and MTV France. His clientele includes celebrities such as Ben Affleck, country music star Joe Nichols, plus Gary Shaffer (Executive Producer ‘The Bachelor’) and Ashley Edens (producer ‘Dancing With The Stars’) and visionary entrepreneur Richard Kessler. As instructor he has taught at the Idyllwild Arts Academy in California, the Rockport Film & Television Workshops, The Governor’s School For The Arts in Virginia, and Armstrong Atlantic State University.
Jenkins, along with Peter Marra, serve as the web-team for the Felix Organization, a non-profit organization enriching the lives of children without parents, founded by Sheila Jaffe and Darryl McDaniels.
